SHUAFAY Custom Sizing Policy

This policy applies when a customer selects a published SHUAFAY size, submits body or garment measurements, requests dimensional adjustments or uses an accepted made-to-measure service.

• Standard Size: a listed product size using the relevant SHUAFAY pattern and grading.
• Product Measurement: a measurement taken from the finished or intended garment rather than the wearer.
• Body Measurement: a measurement taken directly from the intended wearer.
• Custom Size: selected garment dimensions adjusted using accepted customer information.
• Made to Measure: a more extensive pattern or proportion review offered for an eligible product.
• Fit Preference: the intended slim, regular, relaxed or oversized wearing experience.

A custom-size adjustment does not necessarily mean that every pattern component or design element will be independently redeveloped.

SHUAFAY’s usual physical-apparel size ranges are:

• Men: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL.
• Women: XS, S, M, L, XL and 2XL.

Individual products may offer fewer, additional or differently labelled sizes because of design, category, pattern, marketplace requirements or production setup.

The size chart and fit description displayed for the exact product should be used before a general size range.

A size label is not a universal finished measurement. Two jackets marked “M” may have different chest width, shoulder, sleeve or length because their silhouettes differ.

The customer is responsible for supplying complete, accurate and correctly identified measurements for the intended wearer.

The customer should:

• follow the measurement method requested for the applicable product;
• identify body measurements and garment measurements separately;
• identify inches or centimetres;
• recheck unusual or inconsistent values;
• explain intended fit and layering;
• identify movement, riding or protective equipment requirements;
• review the final measurement record before approval.

SHUAFAY may request clarification or remeasurement, but this does not transfer responsibility for customer-provided values to SHUAFAY.

Body measurements alone do not define a finished garment. Appropriate room must be considered for movement, lining, material, design and intended use.

• Slim Fit: closer to the body with less additional room.
• Regular Fit: balanced comfort, shape and movement.
• Relaxed Fit: additional room through key areas.
• Oversized Fit: an intentionally enlarged silhouette developed through proportion, not merely a larger size label.

Customers should state whether the product will be worn over a shirt, knitwear, hoodie, thermal layer, motorcycle base layer or verified protective equipment.

Leather thickness, stretch, lining, quilting, reinforcement, ribbing and armour can materially affect perceived fit and movement.

SHUAFAY may review submitted values for missing information, apparent inconsistencies or unusual proportions.

SHUAFAY may request:

• selected measurements to be repeated;
• confirmation of the measurement unit;
• confirmation of body versus garment measurements;
• height and weight as proportional context;
• tape-placement photographs where necessary;
• a suitable reference garment;
• clarification of layering, movement or fit.

The order may pause while SHUAFAY waits for required sizing information or approval.

Customer approval confirms acceptance of the measurement names, values, units and recorded fit instructions intended for production.

Customer measurements are interpreted within the design, pattern, material, lining and intended fit of the selected product.

A finished garment does not necessarily match every body measurement as a direct one-to-one dimension because construction room, seam allowance and movement must be incorporated.

Finished measurements and fit may be affected by:

• leather type and thickness;
• natural softness or firmness;
• lining and insulation;
• seam, panel and zipper placement;
• quilting or reinforcement;
• elastic, ribbed or adjustable areas;
• pattern balance and garment proportion;
• normal cutting, stitching and measuring variation.

Leather may soften and conform differently through use. This does not mean a clearly incorrect size should be expected to become correct through wear.

Custom sizing aims to follow the accepted measurement record within the practical construction of the product.

A minor difference between a recorded garment measurement and a manually measured finished product does not automatically establish a defect.

Any comparison should use:

• the same measurement method;
• the same start and end points;
• the same flat or circumference convention;
• a fully closed or open garment as instructed;
• the garment placed without stretching;
• the same measurement unit.

Assessment may also consider material behaviour, product construction, overall fit and whether the difference materially affects the confirmed requirement.

Contact SHUAFAY immediately where a submitted measurement or fit instruction is believed to be incorrect.

A revised value is not accepted until SHUAFAY confirms the change in writing.

After pattern work, material allocation, cutting, branding or production begins:

• the change may no longer be possible;
• new material or pattern work may be required;
• additional charges may apply;
• the production timeline may be extended;
• committed labour or material costs may be non-refundable.

The customer should also report any material body-measurement change occurring before production.

Do not alter, repair, restitch, wash or permanently modify a product while a sizing or manufacturing concern is under review.

Third-party alteration may change:

• the original dimensions;
• garment balance and construction;
• available evidence;
• repair or replacement options;
• warranty or return eligibility.

Where an alteration is arranged solely for personal preference, use a competent professional experienced with the relevant leather and construction.

SHUAFAY is not responsible for damage or fit changes caused by an unauthorised third-party alteration.

Custom-sized, made-to-measure, personalised and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable because they are manufactured using individual customer information.

Fit dissatisfaction does not automatically qualify as a manufacturing defect where it results from:

• incorrect customer measurements;
• mixed body and garment measurements;
• an incorrect or unconfirmed unit;
• measurements belonging to another person;
• an unsuitable reference garment;
• an unstated fit or layering preference;
• body measurements changing after approval;
• subjective preference differing from the confirmed instruction.

A concern may qualify for review where the product materially differs from the accepted production record or contains a verified manufacturing defect.

Report a qualifying concern through the SHUAFAY Contact page within 48 hours of delivery.

Include:

• the order number;
• the accepted measurement record;
• a clear explanation of the concern;
• front, back and side product photographs;
• photographs of the relevant fit area;
• measurement evidence using the instructed method;
• packaging evidence where relevant.

Do not extensively wear, wash, repair, alter or return the product before receiving written instructions.

Measurements, fit preferences, relevant photographs and related information may be processed as necessary to:

• review a custom inquiry;
• prepare a quotation;
• develop or adjust a pattern;
• manufacture and quality-check the product;
• provide sizing support;
• review a concern or dispute;
• meet recordkeeping or legal requirements.

Submit only information reasonably relevant to sizing and production.

Do not send account passwords, complete payment-card details or unrelated personal documents with measurement information.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude a mandatory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
